At first, this heater worked very well. I could really feel the heat from escaping. I do not know it would be able to handle 1000 square feet, as if she claims. After only a few days he seemed not to be put to much heat as it originally did. After 2 weeks he has not even been able to face my bedroom 12ftx12ft son. After a few more days it stopped working all together. I returned it and got my money, but I am not responsible for the transport of their defective product. Not worth the hassle.
